Volunteer Archivist
The Jamaica Plain Tuesday Club is seeking volunteers to assist in the processing of its archives. Skills needed for the position include knowledge of best practices in archives management, ability to work in a team, and database expertise. Excellent communication and organization skills are required. Familiarity with Jamaica Plain/women's history and a sense of humor is preferred. All above duties will occur at the Loring-Greenough House, 12 South Street in Boston's neighborhood of Jamaica Plain, accessible by car, the 39 or 41 buses, or the Green Street stop on the Orange Line. Volunteers must be enrolled in an archival studies program or have prior archival experience.
