Job Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be comfortable working on computers and experience with databases is preferred. Knowledge of and/or education in archaeology, history or paleontology is desirable for the catalog verification tasks. Interest in managing and preserving museum collections is desirable.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The purpose of this project is to assist CMC in creating an accurate database record of its three dimensional artifact collections and natural history specimens. Once the data are verified and images linked to data records, CMC will be able to produce on-line exhibits based on our collections, provide specimen information for researchers and allow visitors a larger look into our collections.
This is a behind the scenes position based at the Geier Collections and Research Center.
