operations. Work on an individual basis to increase sale volume and promote
business. Performed daily opening and closing procedures that included working
with cash registers,
credit card machines, and filling out of store paperwork.

Intern 2011
Worked with Education Coordinator to develop and implement Junior Ranger Summer Camp. Helped out with duties at Front Desk of Visitors Center including assist visitors with questions, answering phones, maintaining stock of pamphlets, assisting Park Rangers with daily tasks. Coordinated with Education Coordinator to generate list of contacts for Traveling Trunk Program as well as put together Lesson Plans available for use on NPS website.

Liaison to University and assisted Education Coordinator in Educational Outreach and Program Development. Aided in the development of programs for Black History Month and the upcoming Sesquicentennial of the Civil War.

Assisted in Inventory and cataloging of artifacts. Helped to determine which items we would ascension into our collection as well as contributed to the creation of the Collections Policy for the site. Used Past Perfect software to enter collection into database. Researched and wrote history of the property as well as Corra Harris who during 1913 was the owner of the property.

Researcher/Educator August 2011 – December 2011
Compiled research on the history of Kennesaw State University during the 1990's and its move from State Community College to accredited University. Researched and wrote papers on topics that include Tet Offensive, Huey P. Newton, Corra Harris, Boudicca, Roman Occupation of Britain, and Geography of England. Researched and wrote lesson plans for WWII women in war educational program for Local Museum. Presented Lessons to professors and classmates.

Curator 2011
Traveled to New Orleans to research and photograph for an exhibit on Hurricane Katrina and the lasting affect it has had on New Orleans. Put together and helped curate exhibit.
