Opportunity Description:

The Interpretation Ambassador is the front-line representative who orients visitors to the site and educates them about Frederick Law Olmsted (1822-1903), who affected the way America looks as the first landscape architect in the country. In this role, the selectees will research, develop and present tours of the site's historic design office, and restored Olmsted-designed grounds. They will staff the visitor center desk, answer phones, and provide accurate information to callers and direct them to staff members when appropriate. They will keep the visitor center looking professional and the site brochures well-stocked as well as record and track visitation statistics. Cross-training opportunities with other divisions and park sites may be available. Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday with a minimum of 16 hours
